    Hello All, We have booked a vacation for the week of Christmas at Walt Disney World in Florida, can anyone tell me are they having the firework displays and what Holiday events will still take place?

    Greetings Kristian and welcome to planDisney!

    The holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my most favorite times to visit. I’m not sure which I enjoy more, the Spooktacular decorations in the fall, or those twinkling lights during the winter.

    Recently, the Disney Parks Blog announced what Guests would be able to enjoy and see while visiting the parks during the holiday season. I’m so ready to see all the festive decor, try to control my need to purchase all the themed merchandise, and indulge in some of the seasonal food & beverage offerings. I just love all the seasonal offerings throughout the parks and I cannot help but to try everything, at least once!

    Along with all those fun additions, you will be able to see special pop-up appearances from Santa Claus waving and spreading holiday cheer! As the sunsets and night begins, you will also get to enjoy special projection effects on Cinderella Castle. 

    There’s so much to do and see throughout the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season, you will be surrounded by Magic. Be sure to frequently visit the Disney Parks Blog website for more updates about the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
