    We booked our vacation via a UK tour operator, staying at POR FQ. No option with them to upgrade to king room but we'd like to do this. When should we call the resort? Don't mind paying for the upgrade! Travelling 2nd March-13th March. Thanks!

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter is a lovely resort.  The grounds are so lush and beautiful.

    Typically, if you are making a request such as a particular location, I would recommend that you call the resort within 10 days of your check-in date.  However, since you are actually looking for an upgrade in the room for which you are willing to pay, I think that it would be a good idea to call Walt Disney World directly if your travel agent cannot do this for you.  I just checked online, and I was able to find availability for a King Bed room at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter for the dates of your travel.  I suggest that you ask your tour operator for all of the information on your trip that they can give you, and then call 0800 16 90 730 to speak with a Disney cast member.  I am not sure if they will be able to help you since your trip was booked through another tour operator, but I think that this is the best place to start at this time.
