Hello, I have booked a vacation for two six year old-1boy 1girl and two moms for July 3-10 and we are staying at all star movies resorts. Anything that we must do? Any tips on good dinner shows and character dinings? It's a lot totake in.

    Hi Riki!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I would plan on visiting all four theme parks.  All four theme parks have attractions suitable for all ages.  However, the Magic Kingdom has the most attractions and the most attractions for young children.  It is a fan favorite.  You might want to spend two days there.

You are visiting during a very busy time of the year.  To help you manage the ground I suggest visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That is the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World'.  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowd levels in the parks and for their touring plans which are basically step by step guides on how to experience the attractions in the parks; their touring plans are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer I am a huge fan of their work.

The Magic Kingdom will be extremely crowded on July 4th and may even close due to reaching park capacity.  The fabulous 4th of July fireworks show is actually "previewed" the night before so I suggest going to the Magic Kingdom on July 3rd if you can.  On July 4th, I would recommend going to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Epcot is probably the park that does the best absorbing large crowds.  If you don't want to worry about any crowds and don't mind missing the fireworks then you should head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom.  I have been to that theme park a couple of times on July 4th and have always found it uncrowded on that day.

Our responses are limited in length, but I hope this helps.  I would love to help with your other questions.  Just write back!
