    We booked a vacation package(BD) for July 19-24/10 at Contemporary Garden Wing during the 35% off promotion. How much would lit cost to change to a Tower Room? Could I get the same promotion or current summer room deal? Booked through AAA. Thanks!

    Hi, Mariann! Congratulations on your upcoming trip to WDW...I'm sure you've started packing by now! I have booked several WDW vacations through AAA, and I've been pleased each time -- not only with what we were able to do but with what we were able to afford as well. Since you have booked with AAA, you will need to call your agent to ask him/her your pertinent questions. In addition, you can call the Guest Relations experts at 407-WDISNEY to compare the quotes that your AAA has offered. Remember to ask both sources about current offers and specials -- it may be worth canceling your current reservation and rebooking. However, remember not to cancel before you are certain of availability!

    As far as a garden wing versus a tower room at The Contemporary, I can tell you from experience that it's worth the extra expense. I enjoy the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurants and being only steps away from transportation. Plus, either view (park or lake) provides nightly entertainment options from your room -- with fireworks and/or the Electrical Water Pageant.
