I booked a vacation package for a week and then booked an extra night at the end at another resort. Will the same magic bands work for both resort rooms?

Hi, Tammy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by to see us today. Let's get you ready to enjoy your extended Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

What a great idea to add an extra night to your stay. After all, if there's anything better than spending time at Walt Disney World, it's spending more time at Walt Disney World, right? A whole extra day means more riding your favorite attractions, more hugs from Disney pals, more time to lounge at the pool, and - perhaps most importantly - more Mickey waffles!

Any active MagicBands you have linked to your My Disney Experience account will work for the duration of your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, lots of Guests like to purchase special MagicBands that they can use over and over again. As long as the battery in the center of the band is still working, you can use any and all MagicBands you have interchangeably for the life of the band.

I hope this helps you enjoy your extra Disney day, Tammy. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
