Hi I just booked a vacation package. We are staying at Allstar movies for 14 nights in a preferred room . How and when can i make a room request? (We would like to stay at the toy story section, upper floor. Kind regards from Tromsø

Hi Katrin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have an exciting Walt Disney World vacation planned. Disney's All Star Movies Resort is a fun and immersive resort inspired by legendary Disney film characters. Since you have chosen a preferred room for your adventures, you will be conveniently located in close proximity to the fun of the feature pool and the tasty meals and snacks available at the World Premiere Food Court.

I see that you are arriving in July, which is one of my family's favorite times of the year to visit! We love the energy and excitement of a summer visit. Because you are staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort, one of the many benefits you can take advantage of is Online Resort Check-In.  As early as 60 days prior to your arrival date, using either the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World planning website you can view your resort reservation, provide important information about your arrival, and make requests for your preferred section and floor. If you provide your resort arrival time, you will be asked if you would prefer that your requests be fulfilled, or if you would like the first available room. Requests are never guaranteed, but I always like to make them based on our needs for the trip. If we're bringing a double stroller for our kids, I always request the ground floor!

While the buildings in the Toy Story section are certainly fun to look at from the outside, the rooms at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort recently received an extra sprinkle of pixie-dust and have been newly refurbished on the inside. The new rooms are fantastic with changes such as the carpet being removed and the beds being changed to one queen bed and one queen-sized Innovabed, a murphy-style bed that can fold up into the wall. There is also a new sliding door separating the bathroom vanity area from the sleeping area which is great for when one person wants to get ready, but another is still sleeping.

Katrin, I hope you have a wonderful stay this summer at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort! Please visit us again if you have any further planning questions.
