Hello, We booked our vacation online but we decided to add another day and had to call to modify. When they asked for our occasion we said it was our honeymoon. She was talking about all the perks we will get but didnt mention any. Does anyone know what?

    Hi Mark,

Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon!  We have something in common because I honeymooned at Walt Disney World too.  It was a truly magical way to start a marriage.

The "perks" that are afforded honeymooners during their stay vary.  If you wear your special celebrations buttons (available at Guest Services desks in any theme park) through your vacation, Cast Members will go out of their way to recognize your happy occasion.  I've heard guests say they were given a free surprise dessert at a meal or the opportunity to ride an attraction alone.  If you note on your reservation that you are celebrating your honeymoon, sometimes you will find a special surprise in your room at the end of the day.  My parents, for instance, found flowers and an autographed photograph of their favorite character in their room during their anniversary trip.

None of these perks are guaranteed or predictable.  I guess that's what makes them extra special.  You just never know what kind of magic awaits you during your honeymoon!

Best wishes to you and your bride!
