I just booked our vacation for June 25-29. We will be celebrating my daughter's 7th birthday at Disney! I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to surprise her the day before we leave. Also, what can we do special for her on her on birthday at Disney?

I've said it before, the best place to celebrate any occasion is Walt Disney World. I would begin her special day with a trip to the Magic Kingdom. Head over to Main Street U.S.A. to City Hall. Here the birthday girl can receive a Birthday Celebration Recognition Button as well as a phone call from Goofy with birthday greetings. What a great way to start a birthday. For my daughters we added the 'it's my birthday' Mickey Mouse ears. With this combination both cast members and random guests were offering birthday wishes to my girls all day. It made feel so wonderful, they were smiling all day. As for a surprise, I have seen some great puzzle games with pieces hidden throughout the house and Disney themed clues. Once I saw that a parent made a computer game of it. Amazing creativity! As for special events the most popular for birthdays for little girls are the character dining and a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique to get made over like her favorite princess. There are so many options to make this birthday the best one yet. I hope this gives you some helpful direction.
