We had booked our vacation before I found out I was pregnant. At the time we come in january 2011 the baby will only be 3 weeks old. How often do you see newborns at the park. I know you have the baby centers but am still a little bit hesitant.

Hi, Kristina! Congratulations on your pregnancy and your WDW vacation! However, as the mother of four, I think you might be cutting these two major events a little too closely. I have seen newborns in the parks on occasion, but if there is any way to change your vacation plans, I think you will be more comfortable bringing your infant to the parks once the baby is older, and you will enjoy the experience more yourself.  My pediatrician usually advises me to wait until the baby is six weeks or older to bring him/her in public so that his/her immunity has the chance to build up. Plus, after you have had a baby, you will need a chance to build up your stamina as well.

For many reasons, I would contact your travel planning sources to begin the process of changing your plans if at all feasible. You may be underestimating the time you need to recover and the energy it takes for an active vacation like WDW. I certainly don't want you to be disappointed nor do I want your precious little one to be exposed to anything before he/she is ready! Please let me know if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and an eventually magical vacation!
