Hi, Chris! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh, no! I'm so sorry your holiday vacation plans have hit a bit of a snag. I know it must be awfully frustrating. Let's see if we can help you make the most of your Disney days!
I'm not sure which
Annual Pass you have, but since you're from out-of-state, it's probably either the new
Disney Incredi-Pass or the older Platinum Annual Pass. Both allow you to visit the Walt Disney World Resort without blockout dates, but they do use a different calendar than Guests with standard tickets. Looking at the calendar just now, I see that the issue is likely December 19 and 20, when all theme parks are currently showing no availability for Annual Passholders. Unfortunately, there's no way to schedule a
Disney Park Pass when they're unavailable for your ticket type, even if the tickets for the other members of your party do have availability. My best advice at this point is to keep a close eye on that calendar. You never know when other Guests may have a change of plans or Disney might release more spots!
In a pinch, you can change things up and spend those two days exploring other parts of the "World." I absolutely love visiting
Disney Springs during the holidays and wandering through the amazing
Christmas Tree Stroll! Plus, you may find that December is actually warm enough for a swim here in the Sunshine State, so a day hanging out by the pool at your hotel or
splashing away at a water park may be just the ticket.
I have my fingers crossed that the calendar is kind and that additional availability appears for you, Chris. But either way, I hope you won't let it dampen your Christmas spirit, because there's still plenty of Disney magic to be had! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, and I wish you a truly jolly holiday.
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
