We booked a vacation for early December, and have noticed an unexpected hitch in our plans. Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for refurbishment during our stay. Is it still worth the price to only be able to visit one water park?

Hey, Shannon! Well, I can tell already that you're definitely more durable than I have ever thought about being since you're considering a water park in December. It just shows you the difference in what we're used to weatherwise -- North vs. South!

If you've chosen the Water Park Fun & More Option for your Magic Your Way tickets, then you'll be happy to know that not only will Blizzard Beach keep you sufficiently entertained as your only water park choice, but you will also have the option of having some dry, indoor fun at DisneyQuest, too.  Also, included in WPF&More is a round of golf at Oak Trail Golf Course (a walking nine-hole course designed for the family) and a visit to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Just be careful...the WPF&More Option is for a certain number of visits (not days like the park hoppers).  Therefore, you can use up more than one visit in a single day.  In addition, I wouldn't advise using the ESPN option unless you have an extreme sports fan traveling with you and there is an event going on there while you are at WDW.

Therefore, if you have more than three "visits" on your WPF&More, you may want to reconsider. I personally think, based on my experiences, that one visit each for Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest and Oak Trail is sufficient.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
