I just booked my vacation to Disney for June 2-9, 2012. This is our first visit, my husband and two girls, ages 9 and 12 and myself. How are the crowds at the parks durning this time of year? is there anything that I need to know before coming out there?

    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  The parks will be crowded the first week of June, but they won't be that bad.  It will be more crowded later in the summer and it will be nothing like a holiday weekend at Walt Disney World.

Since it is your first visit, I recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It's a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information without being overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel for everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

Also, be sure to make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADRs) for any Table Service (full service) restaurants you want to experience.  There are some great places to dine at Walt Disney World and they fill up quickly.  ADRs are generally required and they can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
