We just booked our vacation to Disney, attending in May for the first week of Star Wars weekends. AT the last minute, we changed our resort from Coronado to Pop Century based on reviews for each. Would you recommend this resort for a family of 3 and why?

Hello Melissa!  So very exciting you will be visiting Walt Disney World over one of the Star Wars Weekends.  The event is so much fun, I am sure you'll have a great time.

I have stayed at both Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort numerous times and although we like both, we prefer staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort.  This resort is just a lot of fun!  Bright colors and oversized iconic statues bring back great childhood memories and is equally fun for children.  I also have a family of 3 and find the room size at Disney's Pop Century is just right.  While the rooms are smaller than at Disney's Coronado Springs, we find we just don't need that much room.  At Walt Disney World, we are hardly ever in our room which is why we often times stay at a Value level resort.  People, in general, really love Disney's Pop Century Resort and there is even a fan site dedicated to it.  I think you made a great choice on where to stay for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Have a magical trip.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
