We just booked our vacation for 10 days leaving the day after thanksgiving. That being said we have a party of 7 and booked the 2 bd villa at WL.. but now thinking we like AK.. Would u recommend one over the other?

The first thing I would tell you is that either location is wonderful and you would enjoy a stay at either!  But you did ask for opinion so I will share my own thoughts.

I love the location of the Wilderness Lodge as it is just a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom.  During the holidays this is the park I want to spend most of my time in.  There is a magic that just overwhelms you when you see the castle all lit up with millions of lights.  Being close to this would make me definitely stick with the Wilderness Villas.

Animal Kingdom Villas are new but that area is more set apart from the rest of the property.  Many guests see this as a plus being apart and away from the hustle and bustle.  At any other time of year I might agree but for the holidays I love being close to all the splendor of the decorations and yule time cheer!  Again this is a personal thought and either are wonderful locations!
