    I just booked a vacation at Carribean Beach Resort. Now i'm worried about all the walking. Does anyone have any advice?

    Hi, Cheryl!   While the Caribbean Beach Resort is lovely, it is a lot of walking!   Over 2,100 guest rooms are spread out over 200 acres with 5 "quiet" pools, the main Pirate themed pool, food court, and registration/custom house building.  The happy-colored buildings are all around the beautiful Barefoot Bay. 

    To minimize walking, you may want to request a room in Trinidad North or Martinique as these are the buildings closest to Old Port Royale (dining, gift shop, main pool.)  

    If this all sounds too big for you, you may want to consider changing your reservation to Port Orleans French Quarter which is also a Moderate Resort.   With about 1,000 rooms, it is about half the size of Caribbean Beach.  It is very cozy, but with the smaller size you give up the sprawling grounds and multiple pools.  

    Whichever you decide, I think you will have a wonderful time.   Each Disney Resort has its own unique flavor, you just need to pick the one that looks the most fun!  If you think you may want to change your reservation, call (407)W-DISNEY to speak to a reservationist about availability.  Good luck!
