I booked our vacation for April 2020 and when going through the online check-in process only my name appeared for a magic band, my family members did not.

Hi, Susan! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have a feeling that your issue should be a quick fix, but let me offer a few suggestions.

When booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you should have had the option to add the names of your additional Guests on your reservation. If any of those Guests are adults (or children over the age of 13) with their own My Disney Experience accounts, that may be one reason their names aren’t appearing on the MagicBand selection screen. The last time I booked a reservation for my husband, daughter and myself, I was able to order MagicBands for each of us, but a simple glitch in the system may explain why each member of your Party isn’t showing up on your list.

If you have other Guests on your reservation who have their own My Disney Experience accounts, you’ll also want to make sure you’re all connected through your Family & Friends list. This will be an essential step when it comes time to book your FastPass+ experiences in February (60 days from your check-in date as a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest).

If everyone’s name is properly listed under your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation and you’re all connected via your Family & Friends list (but you still don't see the option to order MagicBands for them), I would encourage you to reach out to the “My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+” helpline. Here a Cast Member will be able to pull up your account and see where the glitch might be.

I hope everything gets sorted out in quick order, Susan! Please let us know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next Spring. We hope to see you real soon!
