Christmas on Main Street

I booked two separate rooms for our vacation starting December 2. If I purchase Memory Maker, can it be used for both rooms or do you need to purchase two separate ones.

    Hi Kimberly,

It's always nice to see you planning Disney at planDisney! December is a picture-perfect time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. A picture of your party in front of Cinderella Castle is certainly a must-do. I also encourage you to seek out Disney PhotoPass photographers that are facing the other direction on Main Street, U.S.A. A picture of my family huddled together in front of the huge Christmas tree at the top of Main Street, U.S.A., graced the front of last year's holiday card. Nothing says holiday magic like larger-than-life popcorn garland and gingerbread ornaments.

Memory Maker is a Disney PhotoPass product that lets you view and download all of the pictures and videos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers and on select attractions throughout Walt Disney World Resort. You can purchase Memory Maker One Day for shorter trips or save money by purchasing Memory Maker Advance at least three full days before your arrival. A Memory Maker purchase must be linked to your My Disney Experience account before use and activates when you click to view or download your first picture. One Memory Maker purchase captures new memories for up to 30 days. Pictures and videos expire 45 days after they are taken so I recommend downloading all media shortly after your trip.

I've got great news for you, Kimberly. One Memory Maker purchase captures Disney PhotoPass photos for up to 25 members of your Family and Friends. That will definitely cover both rooms! Start by making sure everyone in your party appears on your Family and Friends list, assuming you're the one with the Memory Maker purchase linked to your My Disney Experience account. Next, click "Update" next to each person's name on your Family and Friends list and make sure the "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" box is checked. Lastly, when you view images in your Disney PhotoPass gallery, make sure "Include Family and Friends" is checked. You can also view images in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> Photos). Note that only the purchaser will be able to view the photos without a watermark before downloading.

I hope this news brings a smile to your face, Kimberly. Do you know what else brings a smile to my face? DOLE Whips. I hope to see you and a DOLE Whip again real soon.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
