We have booked two separate Disney hotel stays and have a different sets of magic bands associated with each stay on MDE. On check-in at hotel #2 can we ask to continue using our magic bands issued at hotel #1 rather than getting the second set?

    Hi Winifred,

Yes, you will be able to use the same bands the entire time. However, you'll need to have them coded at the second resort too for use as a room key. On my most recent stay two weeks ago, we actually stayed in four separate Disney resorts. We were issued new (gray) Magic Bands at each check-in. Since we had ordered one set of colored ones in advance, we wanted to stick with those. We simply brought all of those bands to the front desk upon each new check in and they were able to code them so we could continue using them. We learned that we could use either set (they would both work). However, rather than collect 18 extra bands (6 people, 3 extra sets), we opted not to even use them and we handed them back in to the front desk to recycle.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,
