Hello there, Giulia! It’s my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney!
Can you believe your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner next month?! I’m positively jingling with excitement for you—and what perfect timing, because your visit will coincide with
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, when both parks are decked out in sparkling lights, festive décor, and seasonal cheer from
Main Street, U.S.A. to
Buena Vista Street. It’s truly one of the most magical times of the year to visit!
Now, to your question—the good news is yes, you can upgrade your One Park Per Day ticket to include the
Park Hopper option if you decide you’d like to experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day. Simply stop by any ticket booth located near the Main Entrance Esplanade, and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you with the upgrade. If you’d like to make the change a bit earlier, you may also be able to upgrade your tickets through the
ticket modifications page on the Disneyland website ahead of time.
Before your arrival, it’s a great idea to double-check that you’ve made a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. If you purchased your tickets directly through the Disneyland Resort website, you likely already have those reservations linked—but it never hurts to confirm by visiting the
theme park reservations page.
As you get ready for your trip, Giulia, I’d also highly recommend downloading the
Disneyland mobile app ahead of time. You can log into your account early, explore park maps, and get familiar with helpful tools like
mobile food and beverage ordering and
Disney Genie Service. That way, when your magical day arrives, you’ll already be a pro at navigating both the parks and the app!
For an extra dash of holiday strategy, if you plan on purchasing the Park Hopper upgrade, you may consider starting your morning in one park and “hopping” over to the other once the clock strikes 11 AM Pacific Time, when Park Hopper access begins. This timing lets you enjoy the best of both worlds—perhaps begin with a dashing ride through
“it’s a small world” Holiday in Disneyland Park and then stroll across the Esplanade for a taste of
Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. Keep an eye on the
Daily Events Schedule, too—it’s the perfect way to catch festive parades and magical nighttime spectaculars all in one joyful day!
Giulia, I hope your upcoming visit is filled with twinkling lights, warm cocoa, and plenty of unforgettable memories as you celebrate the holiday season at The Happiest Place on Earth!
With holly-jolly wishes,
Cody
