Hi! I booked two 2-bedroom villas through DVC and one 2-bedroom directly through Disney for an upcoming trip. Are they the same accommodations with different names? I'm hoping that we will be close to each other.

    Hey Howdy Hey, Shane!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney!  Thank you so much for stopping by with your great question about two-bedroom Villas and two-bedroom suites at Walt Disney World Resort.  As a Disney Vacation Club Member for over 20 years, we have loved the amenities that come with multi-bedroom Villas, including the full-sized kitchens filled with gadgets and gizmos aplenty, the in-room washer and dryers, and plenty of sleeping and living space for gathering the 'ohana for family time.

Shane, generally speaking, the two-bedroom Villas booked through Disney Vacation Club and the two-bedroom suites booked through the main Disney website are the same.  What differentiates them would be the view and room category if you booked a different view for each one and this could vary by Resort.  If, for example, you booked all three as two-bedroom Villas with a pool view at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, they would likely be the same and potentially you could be near each other.  If you booked these rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, and two are with a savannah view and one is with a garden view, then these rooms would not be near each other.  So, while the units themselves have the same features and amenities, whether or not they are located near each other would depend on the Resort and the view you selected.

What you can do is contact Disney Vacation Club Member Services or Disney Guest Services and put in a request that the rooms are near each other.  This would be pending availability of course, but they will do their best to accommodate your request.

I hope this is helpful for you, Shane!  If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions or Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here. I'll be most happy to help you.
