We have booked a two bedroom villa at Wilderness Lodge for early September & are so excited!! Is there a building that has a better location in regards to proximity to the pool, bus and main lodge (i.e. restaurants)? What nights are the campfire &

    Hi Colleen,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a lovely resort.  It is so tranquil, with many towering trees and a peaceful feeling.  A two-bedroom villa will allow you to have so much space to spread out and relax!

All of the requests that your mention can be summed up by requesting a villa close to the mail building of Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  I think that these would be the villas with lower numbers in the last two digits, as I believe that the villas are numbered sequentially heading away from the main building.  I would refrain from requesting a specific villa number, as if that villa is not available, the cast member does not know why you made the request.  I recommend that you simply request a villa close to the main building of Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  Please do know that while Disney will do their best to honor requests, they are not guaranteed.  Also, overall the property is not too terribly spread out, so wherever your villa is, it should not be too far to walk to the main building of Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

The campfires offered at select Walt Disney World resorts are so much fun.  A campfire is a lovely way to cap off your day.  To my knowledge, the campfires generally happen every night, weather permitting.  Check the recreation guide that you are given when you check in for the times of the campfires during your stay, as they vary with the seasons and the time of sunset.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Colleen.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
