Hi! Booked a trip for 9/19-9/25 Yay almost time! My ? is can I mail a box of snacks and things to our hotel Caribbean Beach, so that I don't have to pack them in our suitcase? If so how far in advance should I mail them out? Thanks! Love the panel!

    Hey Suzi,

You're visiting at one of my favorite times -a using one of my favorite tips!  I started shipping myself a package to the resorts when my children were babies, it was nice to minimize the luggage I had to juggle on travel day with three little ones.

I always us a major carrier such as UPS and always find their website very helpful in calculating shipping times and rates.  I always take the estimated delivery time and add two business days to it to determine when I want to ship my package.  The two extra days allows for any delays or internal processing that may be done once my package arrives at Walt Disney World.  I also like having the opportunity to print out the delivery confirmation before I even leave home.  In my experience, using UPS ground service my package takes 4-5 business days to go from New Hampshire to Orlando.

Be sure to label your package clearly with HOLD FOR GUEST: (name) and  ARRIVAL DATE: (date) to make sure your package is available for you once you arrive.  If the front desk cast member doesn't mention that a package is waiting for you, be sure to ask!
