I have booked our trip for the week of Nov. 18, 2019. When adding park tickets, that week is the most expensive for the month of November. Is there something special going on or is it normally more expensive that week?

    Hello Nathalie!

The week that includes November 18, 2019, includes a significant U.S. holiday- Thanksgiving. This week is extremely popular because so many children are out of school and it marks, for many, the start of the winter holiday season. The Disney ticket pricing calendar does indicate that this is a higher price week, exceeded only by the week of Christmas.

However, with a busy time of year comes some fantastic events including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Epcot International Festival of the Holiday. One of the cornerstones of these celebrations is The Candlelight Processional at Epcot. I would expect the dates and details of these events to be released on the Disney Parks Blog in late spring/early summer.  Last year they were announced mid-May.  So keep your eyes and ears open!

I hope this helps with your magical vacation planning!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
