    Howdy Raquel!

Welcome to planDisney!  I love to chat about all the dining experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!  Thank you for stopping by with your question!

As Mickey and his pals continue welcoming guests “Returning to a World of Magic,” things may look a bit different at this time.  The Walt Disney World Resort uses the Disney Park Pass Reservation System to monitor theme park capacity.  Due to the current limited capacity in the theme parks and the Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, it may be challenging to score particular dining experiences.  I recommend checking availability regularly!  We never know when restaurant capacity may increase or someone may have to cancel their reservations.

On my last visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I struggled to find advanced dining options for my family.  I continued to check the location and finally found a couple of dining experiences I had wanted to enjoy.  I also looked into restaurants located just outside the theme parks!  I was pleasantly surprised at the fantastic options I found.  We enjoyed relaxing transportation to the Disney Resort Collection Hotel and experience some delicious food.  We discovered that we appreciated the break in the middle of the day and were recharged to enjoy the remaining part of our day at the theme parks.

Also, take some time to explore all of the quick service options throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  I know you will find several options that will be a must-do for your vacation in August!  Currently, at this time, you will need to use the Mobile Food Order option on your My Disney Experience.  By using the Mobile Food Order option, you will be able to choose your dining location, choose the time of your arrival, create your order, and pay for it from your My Disney Experience.  I love the Mobile Food Order option, and if this is your first time using it, I know you will love it too!  Once you are at your dining location, make sure to let the restaurant know you have arrived so that they can begin making your food!

To stay informed of everything to see and do in just a couple of weeks, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your vacation, please come back to planDisney, Raquel!  We are always here to help with all your planning questions!
