We have booked our 7th trip to WDW. We did Treats & Seats last time January 2022 and will book it again for January 2025. Any idea what nights it may be offered in January 2025?

Welcome to planDisney, Beverly. It's a pleasure to answer your first question on the site!

I have never experienced a dessert party for one of the nighttime spectaculars at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's definitely on the list of experiences that I need to reserve. While I can always find a spot to watch Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park and I truly believe it's magical no matter where you view it, there's something about a guaranteed spot that takes some of the worry away...and then having some sweets too? I'm all in. It doesn't take much to convince me!

Currently, you can only reserve Seats & Sweets up to 60 days in advance and the calendar only displays times that far ahead. As such, until the calendar for January 2025 is displayed, we will not know when it will be offered. At this time, it is pretty much offered nightly and if that's the case when you're there, you'll have many days to choose from. I'd recommend checking back on the Seats & Sweets page and keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in case any new offerings pop up or any announcements for the new year are made regarding this offering.

I will be at the resort in January of 2025 as well and while that's probably not surprising to you, this time, I'll be bringing my father. It'll be his first time visiting the resort in about 30 years. The last time he was there was the first time he brought my family to this magical place. As you likely know, sometimes life gets in the way. Careers, obligations, and just general "life stuff" prevent you from experiences you are longing to enjoy. It's on the list, but you don't always get to everything on the list. Well, I'm making it a priority on the list and we're getting to it!

So why am I telling you this? Because sometimes we have to prioritize those things we have put off. And that might mean we book the dessert party. We take our dad on Pirates of the Caribbean to point out that the pirate with his leg hanging off the bridge in that attraction is so detailed that he even has hair on his leg, just like our dad did for us 30 years ago. We think of the restaurant that will fill our family's bellies and their hearts. We make joy a priority. We truly enjoy each moment together by being present. And we keep each moment there in our hearts to bring a smile to our faces when we need it most.

Beverly, this world is a symphony. Find the accompaniments that will make you feel the most joy and that you'll cherish and remember forever.

I'm here for any other questions you may have. And I promise my answers won't all be sappy like this one!

Find your place in the great symphony of us,
    Matt
