Hey there, Andrea! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question.
There is nothing more exciting than booking your vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort! You get to begin planning out your
Theme Park Pass reservations, your must-do restaurants, and which
Enchanting Extras you want to add. I know that you must be SO excited, Andrea! It seems as if your planning is already off to a fantastic start, as September is a wonderful time to visit! In September, crowds are usually lighter, it's still warm enough to enjoy your Resort hotel's fabulous pool, and the Walt Disney World Resort
50th Anniversary Celebration will still be in full swing. Let's get your question answered today so that you can start getting excited and start your countdown!
Unfortunately, luggage tags are no longer mailed to Guests. However, once you arrive at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can pick up some adorable luggage tags from the front desk. Yay!
In most cases, a physical ticket card will not be mailed to your home, but Hakuna Matata! It means no worries! Just link your Resort hotel reservation and tickets to your
My Disney Experience account using the ticket confirmation number provided in your Costco Travel documents. Then, if you would like to purchase a MagicBand to use for park admission, purchases and more, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and click "
My MagicBands and Cards" to get started. If you don't wish to purchase a MagicBand, no problem! After linking your tickets to your account, log in to the My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon and then tap "Disney MagicMobile." Here, you can set up your Disney MagicMobile Pass, which includes your tickets, and download it to your mobile device's digital wallet. Then, you can use this Pass as park admission with just the swipe of your phone! How cool and easy is that?!
If you would still like to use a physical ticket card for park entry, just stop at Guest Relations right outside of the theme parks, and they will be more than happy to get you one there. Just be sure to have your confirmation, your source of payment, and your ID with you. This card will act as your theme park entry throughout your trip, so you only have to make this stop one time!
Andrea, since you will be living your best pixie-dusted life this September, you should get to experience the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! As you plan and prepare for your upcoming magical vacation, be sure to keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog to get official information on the Food and Wine Festival, including its dates, delicious menus and more as soon as the news drops! I suggest planning at least two days here, as there will be SO much to do, see and taste. You will NOT want to miss this!
