We have booked a trip to WDW for Oct 09 for 7 days. My daughter is going to be 18 months old, what rides will she be able to go on in the different parks. Also, she is very comfortable in the water, which waterpark would you recommend is best for her age

A complete list of rides with height requirements can be found here.  There are also some attractions that you may choose not to take your daughter on because they may be too intense.  I'm thinking of 3D type shows like Honey I Shrunk the Audience in EPCOT or It's Tough to Be a Bug in Animal Kingdom.  There are some loud moments and it does get quite dark in these shows.  I have seen many children leave screaming.  I've also seen many toddlers laugh hysterically.  You know your child best.

As far as the water parks go,  I have taken toddlers to both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.  Both parks have excellent areas for small children. Tike's Peak is found at Blizzard Beach and Ketchakiddee Creek can be found at Typhoon Lagoon.  My preference is Blizzard Beach, but it may be that I prefer the theming of that park.

I hope you have a magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
