Just booked our 2nd trip to WDW! Loved it last July, so coming again in July! Staying in Garden Wing of CR. What is the likelihood of a room request being honored? Loved our ground floor Bay Lake view last time & would love to have same room. Suggestio

    Hi Holley:

Disney World does its best to please Guests and honor requests.  As I sense from your question, you understand that Disney cannot guarantee a room request can be honored, especially during busier seasons.  Disney World attracts crowds in July since schools are not in session.

To increase the chances of your request being honored, I would call the Resort about a week prior to check in to re-request your preferred view and make sure the request is captured in the system.  When you arrive at Disney World, I would try to check in as early as possible.  When you check in, make the request again, and (if you can), let the Cast Member know that you are willing to wait for your preferred room.  Letting the Cast Member know that you do not need to enter your room for several hours will increase the chances the Cast Member can work with you on room selection.  You can check your bags with Bell Services while you wait for your room (and maybe visit Magic Kingdom for a few hours).  Hopefully when you return, you'll be able to secure your preferred room.

Again, the request cannot be guaranteed, so just hope for the best.  Your vacation should be magical regardless of the outcome.  I'm wishing you luck.

    Enjoy your vacation.
