We booked a trip to WDW in June 2015 and was wondering, I went to make a reservation at the Tusker House for Breakfast and they wanted a credit card. We have the Dining Plan, do we still have to give them a credit card?

Hi Carol.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Even though you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will still need to provide a credit card number to put on file to hold your reservation.  When you dine at the restaurant, your server will ask if you are on the Disney Dining Plan and you can pay for your meal with your credits at that time.  The only time your credit card on file would be charged is if you are a no show for your reservation.  If that happens, you could be charged a fee of $10 per person.

We love eating at Tusker House at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  I just know you are going to have a great time.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask us.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
