We booked our trip to WDW in Dec. of 10' when the free dining plan was offered. I called today to upgrade to the Plus Plan and they said they couldn't do it, I would have to rebook since the offer has expired. Is that right, I thought I could upgrade?

    Hi Suzanne!

Hmmmmmm.....this has me stumped.  Is your vacation in less than 72 hours?  If not, I honestly believe that you can still upgrade your FREE Quick Service Plan to the Plus plan.  Things usually only get tricky when you want to downgrade, but Disney will usually always alow you to add features!  Since you have already booked and secured the FREE dining, it shouldn't be an issue to upgrade.

However, not all Cast Members have the same level of knowledge.  Absolutely no offense to any of the wonderful Cast Members, but the one that you spoke to might not be aware of this particular issue.  I know that I, personally, have called back and spoken to a different Cast Member who was a little more knowledgable and they were able to assist me.  My advise to you is to call back and speak to someone else.

Obviously, I am not an employee of Disney, so I can't say for certain, but I would not give up.  Absolutely call back and try again - best of luck!
