Hi! I just booked a trip to WDW for the beginning of May for 5 nights with my husband and 2 daughters (ages 5 & 2). We decided to book it for the Saratoga Springs Resort and are in a 1 bdrm villa. What are your thoughts on that resort?

    Hi Kelly,

My family owns Disney Vacation Club, and we have stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort several times.  It is an absolutely lovely property, with upscale amenities, an outstanding main pool area and great restaurants.  This is a newer resort, and as such, the villas are gorgeous!  In addition, it is a quick boat ride away from Downtown Disney, which makes this hot spot a great venue for dinner and shopping any night of your stay.  Saratoga Springs is a large resort, and we prefer to ask for villas near the main pool area, since my boys love to spent time in the water.  (There are several beautiful pools throughout the resort, and no room will be more than a short walk away from a pool, but my kids love the slides in the big one!)  A one-bedroom will provide your family with plenty of extra space, and some wonderful perks such as a washer/dryer, full kitchen and dining area.  The separate living room and master bedroom will allow your husband and you to have some privacy as well.

I think you've made a wonderful choice!  Have a magical trip!
