Just booked our 1st trip to WDW for April 4-10 We are going to surprise the kids (5, 11, 13) so they won't know till we arrive So I guess my question is what suggestions ideas or recommendations do your have for a first time guest We did get dining Thanks

    Theresa:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

Although my recommendations for a first visit would fill a book---probably two books, I think every visit to Disney World means a full day at the Magic Kingdom taking in the parade and the fireworks, and every family should experience at least one Character Meal (and you can use your dining credits to book them!) not to mention the Monorail.

Take a minute and visit Disney's website link for First-Time Visitors and their recommendations here. The website offers a way to customize your visit by clicking here!

Make sure you get your "First Visit" button at Guest Services--you never know when some pixie dust may be sprinkled your way!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
