Hello, we have booked a trip to visit the parks in September for the 100th anniversary. Will the new firework show be playing then or just the Halloween firework show? Hoping to see the new one when we visit. Thank you

Hi Adam! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

You've picked a good year to visit with the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort. Wondrous Journeys just debuted, and my planDisney friends who have already seen it are raving! Your visit falls during the season when the resort typically begins to celebrate Halloween with festive décor, treats, and Halloween Screams on select nights subject to cancellation due to weather or other circumstances.

The Entertainment Calendar doesn't yet show dates as far out as your visit. I would advise that you keep checking until the dates of your visit show up there and see what fireworks will be featured. I think you'll enjoy the fireworks no matter which of the shows you see. Halloween is a really fun time at the parks! The Haunted Mansion holiday makeover in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park is my favorite. However, I understand wanting to view the new anniversary fireworks show, and I hope you get to experience all the Disney100 magic!

    Have a magical visit!
