Welcome back to planDisney, Jaynee!
Hooray for booking your magical vacation, but I am so sorry to hear you are having trouble linking it to your My Disney Experience. It's probably that darn Stitch as he's always causing a bit of trouble, but let's see if we can figure out a way to troubleshoot the issue together.
First, I would make sure that you are initially linking it on the
Walt Disney World Resort website instead of through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Some days it feels like the app doesn't want to do anything I request, so I always go back to the main website and
My Disney Experience there to try and get things taken care of. If you booked it through there, you may even see that it is already showing up.
The next thing I would check is to make sure that you are logged in on the
MyDisney account in which you initially booked the reservation. Somehow, unbeknownst to me, I had at some point created two accounts and had two separate profiles. I had almost this identical problem occur when I tried to link our reservation because I was trying to link it to the other version of me.
I had to call the
My Disney Experience help desk where they were able to look up my reservation and see what the problem was and then help me through the steps needed to link my reservation. In my case, they had to combine my profiles. I have also heard of this problem occurring sometimes if you booked through a third-party site or a Travel Agent and used a different email than your MyDisney account.
Regardless of the reason, those friendly Cast Members should be able to pull up your information and get it all squared away so you can begin planning the magical details of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort stay.
Happy planning, Jaynee! If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please come see us again soon.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
