Hi! We booked our trip today (wahoo!) with the dining plan for this November and were wondering if free dining dates end up being offered for the days we will be there, if our account can be credited for the dining plan? Thanks! We love the Moms Panel!

Congratulations on booking your vacation, Michelle!  I know how exciting that is.  As for the free dining promotion being applied to your account, a credit can't be applied quite the way you're describing.  That's not to say that you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the offer, though.  If free dining does indeed become available for the time frame you're hoping for, you can call to check availability for your desired resort and specific vacation dates.  If there is availability, you have the option of cancelling your existing reservation and re-booking with the promotion applied.  In my experience, Disney has been able to transfer any existing deposits over to the new reservation.  Basically, you'd be receiving the benefits of the promotion, but you'd have to go through the process of cancelling and re-booking rather than just have a credit applied.  I hope that clears things up for you.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for some free dining pixie dust!  Good luck!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
