Hi there, Ashley, and welcome to planDisney!
My family loves our November visits to Walt Disney World Resort! The holiday season is in full swing, and there are beautiful surprises around every corner. I personally love the glitzy decor at
Disney's Hollywood Studios during that time of year, and your Resort hotel is a
Disney Skyliner gondola ride away. You're in for a fun vacation, Ashley!
Of course, the first factor that determines which room you will get will be the room type you request when you book your stay. To get one of the ultra-beautiful, new Little Mermaid rooms at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, be sure to select a 5th-sleeper room and then indicate that you want to be closer to the Skyliner (instead of Old Port Royale). At the moment, these rooms are only in the Trinidad section, but by the time of your stay at the end of next year, there could be more options.
Once you get closer to your Resort stay, about 60 days prior, you can request a room during online check-in using
My Disney Experience (via desktop or in the app). You can call Disney Resort
Hotel Reservations and speak to a friendly Cast Member to set up your request, too. There are no guarantees, but I never underestimate the power of a timely request and a dash of Disney pixie dust.
AN EXTRA GEM: I highly recommend that you spend some time at the feature pool, Fuentes del Morro, and enjoy the tropical eats at
Sebastian's Bistro while you're at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. From experience, these two places do not disappoint.
Ashley, please
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions. I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
