Just booked our trip for September . My question; my dd is 11 but still prefer some meals from the Children's menu. Can she order from a kidz menu at a table service restaurant and still use her adult credit for her meal?

    Hi Julianne!

Yes, your eleven year old daughter can order form the Children's Menu and use her Adult Disney Dining Credit to pay for the meal, but this may not be the most efficient use of an Adult Disney Dining Credit. I would personally recommend paying in cash for her Table Service meals where she wants to order from the children's menu and save the Adult Dining Credits for another more expensive Table Service meal. Actually, anyone can order a kid's meal from the children's menu and pay cash for it (in most cases the children's Table Service meals are under $15.00). Just make sure that you inform your server when you are ordering that you plan to pay cash for your children's meal and then use the Disney Dinning Plan to pay for the other meals for everyone else in your party.

I have used this strategy many times with my son and it has enabled us to eat at more Table Service Restaurants during our vacation. We saved the Table Service Credits by paying cash for kids meals which are less expensive than adult meals. The only watch out is that at Buffet type meals you have to pay the full adult price for kids 10 and up so you will not be able to utilize this method.

I hope you have some amazing dining experiences at Walt Disney World on your next trip!
