We have booked trip in Sept 09(DH,DD6,MIL,FIL&me) we did not include dining, yet. if they offer the free dining and we will be there before it ends but staying after, would we still be able to request it?

    Hi Jennifer,

That is a really good question and I know the answer as I researched this very same thing this past September when I booked the package (including the free dining) for my parents.  The first thing to mention is that the Free Dining Plan (if offered this year) is based on availability and they only select so many rooms at each of the WDW Resorts, so when those are sold then the free dining is not offered or available anymore.  You will need to start calling the reservation line as soon as you hear this announcement is made.

As for your question......I was told when I booked my parent's trip that as long as one of the days booked is during the actual "free dining" promotion, then you can stay longer but the promotion is still active.  For example if the free dining was available from September 1st until the 21st, the 21st is the last day that this promotion will be offered and can be booked.  If you are staying say from September 20th until 28th, you have booked within the promotion time limits and you will receive the free dining during your whole stay.  This is a fantastic offer and if you are lucky enough to secure a room/package during this time, I think it truly is one of the best offers I have ever come across.  I know that I try and book it each year and I hope they continue to offer it for many years to come.  Best of luck to you!

    Best wishes,
