I've booked a trip for 3 with the Quick Serve Dining Plan, but we'd like to try some Table Service restaurants as well. I've heard you can swap 2 Quick Serve meal credits for 1 Table Service credit; is this true? And if so, how do I go about doing that?

Hey Cody!  Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  My family and I love the Disney Dining Plan and always opt for the standard plan that includes 1 table service credit, 1 quick service credit and 1 snack credit per night stayed at a Walt Disney World Resort.

If you are planning on sticking with the Quick Service Dining Plan, please note that you cannot combine your quick service credits for a table service meal.  You can still eat at a table service restaurant, you would just need to pay for it out of pocket.  Have you considered upgrading your dining plan to the standard option?  If you are considering eating at Table Service locations, it is well worth the money.  I have priced out the dining plan versus what we would be paying out of pocket and it literally saves us hundreds of dollars.  The standard plan is plenty of food.  We usually eat breakfast in the room while getting ready, use our quick service credit for lunch and enjoy a table service meal for dinner.  We also enjoy a snack at some point during the day.

If you have any questions about the Disney Dining Plan, please feel free to ask me.  I hope you have a magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
