I just booked a trip for 6 people (Rooms &Tickets) under the FL resident promo. My parents are FL residents, can they buy tickets for the 4 remaining people (non-Fl residents). I read on a previous post yes, but an agent just told me no. Help!

Hi, Megan, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's get you ready for your amazing summer vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

There's so much to explore at Walt Disney World, and traveling with your extended family makes it even more fun! Having your parents along will make for a grand adventure, indeed.

So here's the scoop on Disney's Florida Resident Special Offers. Since your parents are staying with you, you should be able to take advantage of any Resort hotel discounts in effect for Floridians at the time of your trip. However, when it comes to buying tickets, each adult planning to use a ticket purchased with a Florida Resident discount must show proof of Florida residency at Guest Relations before entering a Theme Park. That means your parents cannot use their discount to buy tickets for you.

Megan, there's another Disney discount you might want to look into. This year, Disney introduced the 4-Park Magic Ticket offer, which allows you one admission to each of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. It's a great deal that's available to all Guests, and the travel date you provided here is included in the ticket's valid time period. Have a look and see if this ticket will work with your plans.

I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation with your family, Megan. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
