We just booked our trip and we opted out of the park hopper option. Now If we go to a park in the morning, leave for a lunch reservation in the afternoon, can we get readmission to the same park when we return?

    Hi, Melissa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this terrific question!

I'm happy to report that you can absolutely reenter the same Walt Disney World Resort theme park visited earlier in the day. The purchase of a basic theme park admission ticket allows you to enter a theme park, leave and reenter that same theme park with no additional charge. For example, if you visit Magic Kingdom Park in the morning, you can leave for a lunch reservation at Disney Springs and then return to Magic Kingdom Park later that day for some evening fun. In fact, my family's general game plan when visiting the theme parks is to get to our theme park of choice in the morning, take a break in the afternoon and return in the early evening. I find that taking a break in the middle of the day for lunch or a swim allows us to come back in the early evening feeling refreshed and reenergized.

I hope this helps with your planning, Melissa! If you have any additional questions, please stop back and visit us again.

Wishing you magical memories to last a lifetime!
