Hi Lisa,
A fall vacation sounds awesome. The weather is nice and so many things to do at Walt Disney World Resort.
Epcot opens up and lets you taste your way around the world, with the annual
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. You’ll be able to taste some delicious eats, wines and beers from all over the world, as well as attend demonstrations from world-renowned chefs. Definitely something to check out during this time of the year.
And you’ll be there right before boo-time!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held several evenings a week at Magic Kingdom Park. You can Trick-or-Treat your way around the park, enjoy select attractions, a special Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and a special version of the nighttime fireworks show: Happy HalloWishes. And of course, you want to dress up for the event. But make sure you check the costume guidelines, as these have been changed recently.
Regarding resort hotel availability, there is a very big convention during that week which takes place on across all Boardwalk area convention centers. It does bring several thousand conventionEARs, and they also typically come in earlier and stay after the conference. Because of this, availability would be tighter before and after. You definitely want to keep checking as this can easily change.
Hope you find the resort you’re looking for, but in the meantime, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Ricardo.
