Hello Britne!
Welcome to planDisney! Yay for future trips to Walt Disney World Resort! I love that you plan to maximize every moment of your trip by planning your arrival day to be in the Parks! I love that idea!
If you purchase a
single-day ticket and use it on a day you will
not be using the 4-day Theme Park Ticket with the
Park Hopper option then you are fine. You just can't use two different tickets on the
same day. When purchasing a single-day ticket you will be asked to select the day you wish to use it. Make sure that you use the correct ticket on that date. I have an Annual Pass but there have been occasions where I had to use an alternate theme park ticket to enter the Park. (It's a long story but it has happened.) Anyway, when I tapped into the Park I asked the Cast Member which ticket was used for entry. The Cast Members were able to help prioritize my tickets for me at the gate. They said if a ticket has a
theme park reservation or was selected for a certain date that tends to be used first. You do not want to accidentally use your 4-day Theme Park ticket with the Park Hopper Option too early! Another option to consider which I have done in the Past is to time your arrival for a special event night. Your arrival could coincide with
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You would be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 pm and enjoy the Park before the Party officially begins at 7 pm. The dates for next year's event have not come out yet but around September or October, an article with the details will come out on the
Disney Parks Blog. I once did this for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and it was a great way to just jump into our vacation magically.
Britne, I'm not sure if you know about this but there is also a very fun option for all guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel in 2025.
On your check-in day, you can have free admission to a Disney Water Park! Walt Disney World Resort has two water parks,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park, and
Disney's Blizzard Beach water park. They alternate their openings so year-round and pending weather or other issues there is always a water park open. November may seem a bit chilly for a water park but in Florida, the temperatures can still be pretty balmy and the pools are heated nicely. No further purchase is needed as this is included as part of your stay!
Don't forget that if your room is not ready at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Bell Services can hold your luggage safely until you need it. This way you can drop your luggage and begin the fun!
I hope this helps and you have a lovely time!
Happy Planning!
