We just booked our trip for Nov 13-19. We will be celebrating 2 birthdays and a wedding anniversary. What events would you suggest to make our trip more of a celebration. My son will turn 5 and loves Toy Story and Pirates of the Caribbean.

    Hi Lindsay,

Wow with two birthdays and a wedding anniversary to celebrate whilst visiting Walt Disney World you are definitely in for a great time! Here are some suggestions to make your trip even more magical:-

1/ Make a dining reservation for a Character Meal online or by calling 001 (407) 939-3463 and pre-order a custom cake to be brought to your table during the meal. Specialty celebration cakes are available for an additional charge and should be ordered 48 hours in advance by calling 001 (407) 827-2253.
2/ Arrange an In-Room celebration through Disney Floral & Gifts. (http://www.disneyflorist.com)
3/ Arrange for some gifts to be waiting upon your arrival at your Disney Resort hotel through Disney Floral & Gifts.
4/ Create your very own Birthday/Anniversary Ear Hats at the Chapeau in the Magic Kingdom theme park.
5/ Treat your family by watching the Magic Kingdoms fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon on a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage!

Another idea for your Son would be to make an advanced reservation for the Pirates League where he can receive his very own Pirate makeover.

You will find lots of other ideas on the Customize Your Special Occasion page of the Walt Disney World website.

I would also be sure to pick some complimentary birthday/anniversary buttons when you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel or from Guest Relations as you enter one of the Disney Parks for your party to wear throughout your stay.

I hope that this has given you some ideas and wish you a magical trip!
