I booked our trip not realizing that we would be arriving on Super Bowl Sunday. Needless to say, my family of boys are not happy about missing the game. Are there any Superbowl celebrations that evening where we can watch the game and eat wings/snacks?Thx!

    Hi Susan,

No worries! You should have a number of options for catching the big game.

The obvious choice is the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk. Every TV should be tuned to the Super Bowl. Because it is the obvious choice, it also likely will be crowded so you may want other options.

My family also likes Big River Grille and Brewing Works, also at Boardwalk. It, too, has a good number of TVs and a casual atmosphere for burgers, wings and brew.

We've often caught games at one of the lounges in a resort. Because it is Walt Disney World, the lounges are family-friendly. A few of our favorites include the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian (great sticky wings there), the Outer Rim or the Wave in the Contemporary or the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge (yummy flatbreads, wings and house-made potato chips).

If there are other Super Bowl-related activities planned, they likely will be announced closer to game day on the Disney Parks Blog.

A couple of notes: If you can pry yourselves away from the game, you should find a light crowd in the parks on Super Bowl Sunday.

And the Super Bow MVP usually is the grand marshal in the parade at Magic Kingdom a day or two after the game, so keep an eye out.

I hope that's helpful. Please let me know if I can answer other questions for you as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
