I booked a trip for myself and 3 friends to go to Disneyland and one of my friends will be joining us later in the day due to a later flight. How can I get her ticket onto her Disneyland app so she can get herself checked in on arrival

    Hello, Sarah!

A trip to the Disneyland Resort with friends is a marvelous way to spend time together. I bet you can’t wait!

Some of my friends and I recently spent some time together at the Disneyland Resort too. Though we live far apart from each other, we had a great time collaborating with each other to prepare for the trip. I shared a screenshot of my theme park ticket in the Disneyland mobile app with one of my friends so that we could manage our Lightning Lane selections once we arrived at the Disneyland Resort. She was able to link my ticket number to her account on her mobile device by typing in the number I sent to her. She also sent me a screenshot of her ticket. I was able to scan it into the app with my phone’s camera. When we were at the Disneyland Resort, we took turns displaying our tickets at park entrance turnstiles and Lightning Lane return entrances.

Your friend will be able to link her ticket to her account if you send her the ticket number or a screenshot of the barcode. Although she will be arriving at the Disneyland Resort separately, she will be able to display her Disney eTicket in the Disneyland app at the park entrance. Just in case, it would be a good idea to send her a copy of the theme park reservation confirmation email too.

To link a ticket in the Disneyland app, visit the “Tickets and Passes” screen. Tap the “+” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to reveal the “Link Tickets & Passes” button. Use the phone camera to scan a ticket barcode. Note that this is different from a theme park reservation QR code. Or manually enter the ticket ID number. Once linked, the ticket shows up on the “Tickets and Passes” screen.
