We are booked for a trip in May 2015 at the POP Century Resort. After researching this hotel, I heard it was best to book a preferred pool view room. My question is; will this automatically put us in Building #5 or #6 near the lobby? Or do I need to call??

    Hi Nicole,

You have chosen a fun resort for your stay at Walt Disney World. I have stayed in Disney's Pop Century Resort many times and have always had a fantastic experience there. The larger than life homage to many decades of pop culture fun adds to the unique atmosphere.

While this resort does have more than one pool, the pool view could be in quite a few buildings and sections. So, if your preference is to be in a room with a view of the Hippy Dippy Pool,  the main pool area near Classic Hall (main lobby), then I would suggest calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and request a pool view room in the 60s section. Please keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed and is based upon availability at the time of check-in. Although, if you book a preferred pool view room, you should still get a pool view.

Have an awesome trip and feel free to stop back by with more planning questions as they come up. We're here to help!
