Hi! I have a booked trip for March 21 are going to be celebrating my birthday & anniversary while we are there and were wondering some fun things we could do to celebrate? And ways we can get the celebration buttons!

Hey there, Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My friend, Mary Poppins, would say that any day spent at the Walt Disney World Resort is practically perfect in every way, but when you add in an extra celebration, well then, that's icing on the (birthday or anniversary) cake!

Sarah, first I have to share that I'm so happy to answer this question because my husband and I love celebrating our anniversary with Mickey Mouse. In fact, we just completed our 10-year anniversary trip and my first recommendation for your consideration is one of our favorites... dinner at California Grill! In our opinion this Signature Dining restaurant has it all. Amazing food, an electric ambiance and views of Magic Kingdom Park make this the perfect spot to toast your marriage OR blow out a birthday candle. Sarah, this is a popular dining destination, so I would recommend making advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your visit. I would also encourage visiting at sunset or later in the evening.

Another idea to commemorate your extra special trip would be through photography. If you're planning to visit Magic Kingdom Park, check out the Capture Your Moment photo shoot opportunity that includes a 20-minute personalized session with some iconic locations in the background.

Sarah, if you love lounging by the pool and adding some relaxation to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, consider renting a cabana at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Contemporary Resort. You'll be treated like a Princess for the day while staying cool in the shade. These rentals are open to any guest regardless of where you are staying.

I would also encourage you to keep checking the Enchanting Extras collection that includes tours, dessert parties and other special events. Here you will find more great inspiration for celebrating your birthday and anniversary. While currently many of these opportunities are unavailable, you never know when more options will open.

Finally, since you asked about the complimentary Celebration buttons, I'm happy to report these are readily available at multiple places throughout the Walt Disney World Resort including the Front Desk of your resort or any Guest Relations desk. Simply request both a Birthday button and buttons that say "Happily Ever After."

I hope this helps stir your imagination as you are dreaming about your March vacation. All of here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel wish you a pixie-dusted stay and hope you come back and see us with any other questions you might have.

    Happy (early) birthday & anniversary!
