    We have booked a trip for late January, 2016 for our parents' 40th anniversary, staying at Port Orleans Riverside. There are 19 of us in total (9 adults, 10 kids aged 14 to 1 year old) - any suggestions as to things to do together or places to eat? Thanks!

    Oh my goodness what a magical extended family gathering you're arranging in January at Walt Disney World Resort as part of your dear parents 40th anniversary celebrations; it's sure to be practically perfect in every way! 
    You've already made a superb choice by opting to stay at the stunningly beautiful Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside; everyone from the very young to just the young at heart will love the fantastically themed 3.5-acre Ol' Man Island swimming pool area with its daily pool games and outdoor screenings of classic Disney movies on select nights. Plus you won't want to miss a lively and fun performance from YeHaa Bob Jackson at the River Roost!  
    I've visited Walt Disney World Resort with my larger than average-sized extended family and we love to dine at places like the Biergarten Restaurant or 'Ohana because they benefit from what I like to call long happy-family style tables not to mention serve up delicious food to suit most folks taste. 
    Another top tip is to be sure to add any happy event to your Resort reservation and also to collect a complimentary 'I'm celebrating' button from any Guest Services for your lovely parents to wear; wearers of these cute buttons often attract good wishes from Cast Members and other Guests alike.
