I booked a trip for Labor day weekend. It is not my first choice, Sept 11-16 was. I am now wandering if I need to change to my first choice. My daughters would really like to see DW decorated for fall, but sounds like Labor day is too soon? Help!?

    Rebecca:

Our family's favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World arrives during the fall when the parks are bursting with Mickey pumpkins and fall foliage. The extra layer of festiveness makes our visits more special for some reason.

Besides the decorations, though, there is another reason to consider moving your dates, if they won't disrupt your daughters' school routine: low crowds. The two weeks after Labor Day historically see some of the lowest crowds at Disney World, making it another reason why our family loves to visit. My vote is to move the date!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
